Every baby is a precious gift from above…

I thank you for taking the time, and for your interest in
visiting this section of my website. Let’s face it, we all have
opinions on everything, so why am I taking up space here and
risking the possibility of ruffling some feathers? In all honesty,
I tell you that I am called to do this by God. This is my service
to Him and to all the unborn children who need as many people as
possible to speak up on their behalf.
Let me start by saying that I am not affiliated directly with
any of the websites listed above. They are merely provided for
your information and educational purposes. I am a firm believer in
education (of all kinds, whether it be school/institutional, books
and/or life experience etc.). With education comes knowledge; and
with knowledge, if you so choose, comes the power to make an
active and positive difference in this world. I’d like to add
that, in no way do I judge nor criticize anyone for their opinions
and/or beliefs, whether or not they are in agreement with my own.

Ironically, if you would have asked me my opinion on this topic
just a few short years ago, it was not the same as it is today. I
would have told you that although I knew having an abortion was
not something I would choose to do personally, I could not see why
the choice should not be given to all women, as they should have
the right to choose what they want to do with their own bodies.
However, over the past 3+ years, having had children of my own,
my outlook on abortion has changed. My change of outlook led me to
investigate and truly educate myself on this topic for the first
time in my life. To my surprise or should I say horror, I learned
many disturbing facts about how various types of abortions are
performed, what the processes are exactly, and most disturbingly,
I learned exactly what a partial birth abortion is, how gruesomely
and barbarically it is carried out, and that it is performed up to
36 weeks of pregnancy! (A full term pregnancy is 40 weeks.) I
still have no idea how any of this became legal in the first
place. Although I suspect it may have to do with the sad fact that
most of the general population (including me until I educated
myself), has no idea of any of these details, yet we all have an
“opinion” on this topic.

If you have read this far, I thank you and I urge you to please
investigate this topic as I did; educate yourself further, and see
whether or not your opinion remains the same. I have made it quite
simple as I have listed the most reputable and informative
websites that I know of, with direct links to them above. The
information given on these sites is crystal clear and informative
enough in my opinion, and I personally do not recommend
viewing the links to the photos; but that is your choice to make
of course.
Before I go, I’d like to make a personal note, that on my 20th
week of pregnancy with my beautiful and dear daughter Cali, I was
told that she had a neural tube defect commonly known as Spina
Bifida. Of course the doctors gave me the worst case
scenario/prognosis for her at birth. Given this unfortunate news,
the doctors and nurses also clearly made me aware of what my
“options” were (terminating the pregnancy) up until my 24th week
in the state of Pennsylvania. Additionally, they told me that if I
decided to change my mind after the 24th week, I could go out of
state to seek “alternatives” (a partial or full birth abortion).
Mind you, just moments prior to these suggestions for terminating
my pregnancy, I had just finished watching my daughter on a live
sonogram video; breathing, hiccupping, and moving all around. My
heart sank, as at that moment I wondered just how many women
“choose” whether or not to have their unborn children these days
(and many at such late stages of their pregnancies no less). I can
say for certain that had I not been ProLife and educated on this
topic, I most certainly would have been scared into having an
abortion, with the doctors and nurses pushing me in that direction
with their scary stories. I thank God however, I am ProLife and
Cali has had the opportunity to be born and live a very happy and
loving existence. She has had two surgeries since birth and is
paralyzed below her hips, among several other complications. To
look at her though, she is an angel, so happy, and sweet. She
couldn’t be more perfect! We couldn’t love her any more than we
do! And we know for certain that she is absolutely happy to be
here, and grateful to have been allowed to be born like God
intended!

I pray to God that one day we can all come together and agree
that a child is not a “choice”, and that it is not morally correct
to take the life of a defenseless, unborn child because of
inconvenient timing, or because he/she is not as “perfect” as we
had hoped in regards to health or appearance, or for any other
selfish reason of our own. Given the opportunity to defend
themselves, all of these unborn children would choose life.
See the amazing sonogram photo of my beautiful daughter Cali
above!!! I was 29 weeks pregnant with her when this photo was
taken, and what is amazing (besides my sweet Cali of course) is that it looks as if
she is holding a rosary/crucifix. Some may say it’s just a
coincidence that this has (unexplainably) shown up in her photo,
but I don’t believe in coincidences. What I do know for certain,
the message He is sending is Loud and Clear.....
